Our Wedding

Michelle and Jonathan first started talking at the end of June 2017 after matching on eHarmony. Can you guess who made the first move?After talking non stop everyday since matching they finally decided to meet on July 6th 2017. They met for their first date at the Rook and Raven in Saskatoon and talked for hours, so long in fact that Michelle had 47 missed messages on her phone from her sister Catherine and best friend Nicole making sure she was ok from meeting a stranger online.In fact all was more than ok, Michelle knew the moment she saw Jonathan her soul felt at peace, she had found the one and she was with her soulmate. Jonathan ended the night by asking if it wasn't too soon to ask for a second date and drove Michelle back to her condo. Looking back he says his only regret was that he was too much of a gentlemen and didn't kiss her that night.The dates continued weekly and soon the two were inseparable. Michelle moved in with Jonathan just shortly after Sept 2017.In Oct 2018 they expanded their love for one another by welcoming their baby girl Elizabeth Jean Forreiter. She is strong willed, big hearted, and a loving spirit.Their next adventure was beginning their farming company Forreiter Land and Cattle Co together and learning all that they could (and still can) from Jonathan's mom and dad; Verna and Byron.Then their love doubled again welcoming their first son Connor Garnet in July of 2020. He is vivacious, rambunctious, and yet gentle spirited.Finally their love completed their family in August of 2023 with their second son Jacob Byron. He is resilient, strong, but soft spirited.Hardships and losses have come their way, but the love and connection that these two share with each other and their family is strong and unwavering.On December 25th 2025 just shortly after midnight while waiting for Santa Claus to arrive after tucking all three kids into bed Jonathan bent down on one knee beside the Christmas tree and asked Michelle the question "Will you marry me?"

4:30pm Shuttle Departs from Home Inn &amp; Suites to The Barn at Winds Edge 5:00pm Cocktail Hour 5:25pm 2nd Shuttle Departs from Home Inn &amp; Suites to The Barn at Winds Edge 6:00pm Banquet, followed by Program &amp; Dance 11:00pm, 12:00am, 1:00am Shuttles depart for Home Inn &amp; Suites. A private ceremony with immediate family and a small group of close friends will be held earlier in the day before welcoming everyone for the reception. We are looking forward to celebrating with you all!

There will be a subsidized bar with drinks for $5 each. Please note that the Barn at Winds Edge accepts debit and credit only.

Please RSVP if you will be riding the bus to the Barn at Winds Edge. The safe ride bus will then be travelling from The Barn at Winds Edge at 11pm, 12am and 1am back to the hotel to bring people back at the end of the evening. No RSVP is needed at the end of the evening to ride the bus back. It is important to us everyone gets home safe!
